Built by a Local Who Was Tired of Watching Homeowners Get Burned

Best Roofing USA started with a simple frustration. Ian Koons grew up in the Portland Metro and watched too many of his neighbors get burned by overpriced quotes, ghosted contractors, and roofs installed wrong the first time.

He’d had enough. So he started his own roofing company, built it around the values he wished he’d seen from others, and went to work.

What started as one guy on a roof is now a licensed, certified crew serving homeowners across Oregon and Washington. We’re not the biggest. We don’t want to be. We’re the ones who pick up the phone, show up on time, and treat every roof like it was going on our own home.

You see what you're paying for. Every line item, every material, every reason behind the number. If we can't justify a charge, it doesn't go on the proposal.

We use real materials, install them the way the manufacturer says to, and don't cut corners where you can't see. The whole point of a quality roof is that it lasts. We build for the next 25 years, not the next inspection.

Ian leads every project from first call to final cleanup. He’s the one you’ll meet at your in-home consultation, the one who walks you through your options, and the one who stands behind the warranty after the job is done.

When he’s not on a roof, he’s somewhere in the Portland Metro coaching, helping a neighbor, or doing the kind of work that doesn’t show up on a website.

Angela Koons

Angela runs the back end of Best Roofing USA. She’s the reason your call gets returned, your quote gets sent on time, and your project schedule actually holds. If you’ve ever worked with a contractor who couldn’t keep a paper trail straight, you’ll appreciate what she brings to every job. She also runs and Best You Healthcare Solutions as the lead Nurse Practitioner.
