Ian and Angela Koons

Ian came to roofing through manufacturing and distribution before he ever ran a crew. That is an unusual route into this trade, and it means he knows which systems fail early and why, rather than only how to nail them down.

Angela co-owns the company and runs operations, which in practice means she is the reason your call gets returned. The two of them built Best Roofing USA around answering the phone and showing up on the day they said they would.

Questions worth asking us

Is the inspection free, and what is the catch?
It is free and carries no obligation. Inspections are how we get in front of homeowners who eventually need roof work. If yours is sound, you will hear that and owe nothing.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single family homes are done in one to two days.
Do I need a replacement, or will a repair do?
Most roof problems do not need a full replacement. We handle repairs with the same diagnosis and materials as a full install, and active leaks get same-day emergency service. If your roof has another ten years in it, we will tell you.
Are you licensed and insured?
Best Roofing USA LLC holds Oregon CCB 261305 and Washington BESTRRU743JP, and is fully insured. Any Oregon licence can be checked through the Construction Contractors Board public lookup. Our Malarkey Certified Pro Contractor number is 5838, valid through 14 July 2027, and Malarkey lists certified contractors publicly.
Do you handle storm damage insurance claims?
We come out for a free damage inspection, document everything with photos and a written report, and give you a repair estimate. You file the claim with your insurer. We can meet your adjuster on site to walk them through the physical damage and our scope of repair. We do not negotiate the claim or advise you on it, because Oregon reserves that for licensed public adjusters.
